Before and After...

I failed to get a good photo of Ali with the lopped off hair, but I did take a picture of her with her new haircut.

Thankfully our wonderful friend, and hairstylist, was able to salvage most of Ali's length. She took off about two inches all around to get rid of most of the unevenness. However, there is still a good chunk on the left side of her head that's about two inches shorter than the rest. Needless to say, we left that and hopefully we'll be able to hide it under the longer hair until it's grown out some.

Here's a picture of Ali from a few days ago, before the incident.
Forgive me for my lack of good grooming and parenting, but Ali has become quite the force when it comes to doing her OWN hair...so very pretty! I try so hard not to cringe and make sure I tell her how beautiful she is, even when she has just under 30 hair clips in her hair...she tries so hard!

Here is the new haircut.

Actually I couldn't get a good picture of her looking at me so I just had her turn and lifted up the top layer of hair to show the much shorter bottom layer of hair on her left side. She did look very cute when we left the stylist's though. Jana had braided her hair on each side of her head and it was very flattering and no one would have been the wiser to her lopsided haircut! Thank goodness for good friends and excellent hair dressers!

haha!! Don't you remember cutting your hair when you were little? It's good that you didn't have to cut too much off...she is so adorable!!

So where does this little one get her fire from?!

Actually, I was never brave enough to cut my own hair. I did, however, cut my dolls and barbies hair all the time...and always regretted it afterwards!

oh man...the classic hair cutting, good thing she is dang cute! I have a weird question for you. We were driving by your old house and Shon noticed a big piece of glass leaning up against the house....are you guys using that for something? Or would you be willing to sell it? He is looking for a piece of glass for a display at school, and thought it was about the right size. Let me know yay or nay....you can email me at shonandvin@hotmail.com

Oh dear Ali! The joys! Clay totally looked like a cancer patient with his bald head though!
