Halloween is almost here....

...and we are SOOOO excited! I love Halloween because I love to carve pumpkins. I love the smells, the fall colors and I love seeing how excited my children are to get candy just handed to them! I have to laugh because we had a ward trunk-or-treat last night and my kids got TONS of candy. They each had one sucker when we got home and I put the rest away for the night. They haven't mentioned it even ONCE! They had a great time playing with the other kids, eating a good dinner, and don't seem to really care about what happened to the gold mine of candy they got. I'm very impressed. Quin's school class went to the Pumpkin Patch last week and Quin and I picked out the biggest pumpkins we could find and we spent the evening carving them. Clay's pumpkin from school is already starting to rot. Oh well, we'll be throwing them out soon enough I suppose. Clay had a Halloween Party at his friends house on Friday afternoon. He went as Batman and had a great time. Ali is a pumpkin this year and she looks pretty darn cute in her outfit. Here is some funny info for you: The pumpkin costume Ali is wearing is the same costume Clay and Quin wore on their first Halloween at 7 months. Ali is 20 months. She is most definitely the smallest of my children!
