Picture Update....

Here's Clay's black eye...it doesn't look as bad in this picture because I didn't get around to taking a photo of it until three days later, but you get the jist...he was one cool dude!

We spent the weekend at my parent's place working on some last minute details for an upcoming reunion. We needed some distractions for the kids so I went and bought an assortment of kiddy pools at Walmart! They had a really great time playing on the toys and in the water. The babies got pretty darn chilly after a while and had to come in because they were shivering...I guess it's still a bit cold to be swimming in Idaho!

This is Jack's favorite toy in the whole world. He cries when I take it from him, or when I try and mop without him...he broke my last one and I'm afraid I'll have to keep replacing them. Hopefully it will instill good habits and a love of cleanliness in him...here's to hoping!
And when he's not moping up my floor, he's dumping his diapers out of their basket and climbing in...but who could be mad at a face like that?!?!? I would like to know!

I was mowing the lawn Friday and listening to the Ipod. When I came inside I still had it on and Jack came over and wanted to listen. I would put it in his ear and he would start bobbing his head up and down with the music! It was incredibly cute. He kept trying to get up and walk away with just the one earphone in and it would pop out, he would come over and hold it back up to his ear...he sure is a smart little stinker! Eventually Quin took the other earphone and I was left with nothing, but it was funny to watch the two of them listening!

The Community Fun Night, a carnival put on by the elementary school, was last night and my kids had a BLAST!!! They ate lots of crap, played lots of games and had the time of their lives! I have to admit, I really enjoyed myself. It was great to have Joe there and to wander around to the different games and watch the kids faces light up...it was a terrific evening.

Look at Quin and Ali with their arms around each other....adorable!

I promise Clay is only 'part' monkey....it's from his fathers side.

A word to the wise...it is not a good idea to practice Yoga with children....they do not take finding inner peace seriously!
