Saturday I decided it was time to clean out my diaper bags. I have four different diaper bags that I use. One is for church, two are for everyday use and the third has a zipper for when I travel and don't want things falling out. I keep most of the essentials in each bag so I only ever have to add my wallet, bottle, blanket, etc...and I'm good to go!
Well, it had been a while since I'd cleaned them out and washed them, so this was the task I undertook.
For the past ten years of our marriage, Joe has accused me of stealing his pens. He frequently complains of them 'just dissappearing' and is forced to purchase more. Unlike myself, Joe is very particular about his writing utensils. He has very specific tastes, whereas I'll use anything that is actually capable of writing. So, I have adamantly denied pilfering Joe's pen collection. I mean, why would I bother to steal his pens when anything will do, right?!
So imagine my surprise, embarrassment and regret when, after dumping each diaper bag out into a large pile in my living room, I find these:

Now remember, there were only FOUR diaper bags (I should also note that these are just Joe's pens...oh yes, there were several other pens, and pencils, tucked away in my diaper bags. I only had the courage to take a snapshot of those that actually belonged to my husband).
This begs the question, how on earth did I not notice I was packing around that many writing utensils???? Who needs 20+ pens? I have issues...
So, it became my most regretted responsibility to inform my husband of my transgression. Needless to say, it was not my proudest moment. Any guesses as to how my husband responded???!!???!!??
He instructed me to take a picture, and blog about it.
So there you go. I am, among other things, far from perfect.

hahah Audri that is great!! I do the same thing but I only have one giant purse!!
