We're Still Kickin'

We've made it back from our ten day vacation to Boston and we only lost one bag (temporarily) on the whole trip. (Funny story - when we arrived in Chicago for our layover on our trip to MA we got off the plane, got settled, fed the kids, fed the baby, tried to change a diaper - no diapers. The bag that had ALL of our diapers, wipes, baby blankets, burp rags, my wallet and checkbook had been left on the plane...the plane that had already re-boarded and left for Baltimore. Oops. Joe put on his 'I am pathetic, please help me' face and went begging for diapers and wipes. Luckily we did get the bag back two days later and nothing was missing. And we did find a few people willing to part with a few extra diapers and wipes. Disaster narrowly averted...I love flying.)

I don't have time to post pictures. I should get them up eventually. Max is super upset because he feels neglected and wants his next meal...immediately. He has taken to sucking his thumb if he is hungry and I don't get right on feeding him. I think it's his way of saying, "I'll show you who's in charge. Feed me or I will form a super bad habit that will drive you crazy. Take that!" So, I leave you now to go feed my adorably FAT, thumb sucking three month old (who most certainly could miss a few meals and it would not hurt him a bit...he's not buying it)!

Oh my little guy started sucking his thumb (on occasion) at 3 months. Now, at 6 months, he sticks that thumb in his mouth ALL the time: tired, hungry, or just hangin out it's always in his mouth! And it does, indeed, drive me CRAZY!! :) But I must admit that it really is kind of cute! :)

Its a horrible habbit! Gabby our 7 year old still sucks her thumb and its causing some weird stuff to happen with the skin and the ahape of her thumb. We've been trying to break her of it, but its a hard one. She's been doing really good for the most part. Now she does it in her sleep... Not sure how to fix that one.
