Slow, Painful Death of Dragon Breath...

We are FINALLY starting to see some real progress with Jacko (and his horrific 'dragon breath'). It is now possible to be in the same car, room or even home as him and not want to pass out because the stench coming from his mouth completely overwhelmed your senses. In fact, unless you are holding him you don't really smell it at all. Definitely an improvement.

Also, Jack has been weening himself off the meds and is now taking just Tylenol once in the morning and once before bed. Tomorrow morning will also be his last dose of Antibiotics. He is also eating more during the day and has started showing more of his usual 'robust' appetite. I am sure it will take a few more days before we're eating whole cows again, but I think he could handle a whole chicken or two just fine.

The best news so far, however, was last night Jack didn't wake up for any pain meds!!! Ya! He went to bed at 9pm and didn't wake up until 8am! It was wonderful to sleep all night and I'm hoping he is over the worst of it.

On other news, I'm taking the kids down to St. George tomorrow to meet up with Joe for his first ever Triathlon. It's a sprint, so he's hoping to be done in under an hour and a half. I think he'll do great, he's been training as hard as his schedule allows, so I think he'll surprise himself and do pretty well.

Hope everyone has a great weekend...we've been checking your blogs, but haven't had a chance to leave comments. Just know that we're glad for the chance to stay in touch with you all! Oh, and a very happy mother's day to all you mom's out there. I hope it's a GREAT one!!!

Whew! You always amaze me - I don't know how you handle everything that you do! What a wonder-woman! I hope your little guy continues to get better.

Are you coming to the high school reunion? We had a meeting last Friday and Holly Peterson suggested that you would be a good person to sit with us at the registration tables and give people their "Hello, my name is..." name tags. I think Lacey (Dixon) Smart, Jill (Rice) Eddie, Deborah (Korth) Jackson and probably Holly and myself will be doing it. We aren't really sure how many people we'll need since we have never planned a reunion before and we are kind of retarded, but I think Lacey is going to be manning the raffle ticket table and so we figured we'd better have a few different tables for sign in. What do you think? I don't want to ask you to sit there if it will make you more uncomfortable considering the fact that you will be like 8 mos pregnant. Anyway, let me know what you think.
