Scooby Doo, Where Are You???

So a few weeks ago I bought the kids a Scooby Doo DVD. I had always liked them as a kid and figured the kids might enjoy them as well. One of the episodes is about a Chef Ghost who is stealing from Daphne's house.

Yesterday, Ali was sitting at the table and I heard her singing this:

It's a very good rendition of the song in the movie. I was rather impressed. How is it that children are able to absorb things after such a limited exposure to it? I wish we, as adults, could retain information that well...I have definitely lost my touch.

Anyhow, I thought it was cute. I had Clay sing it so you could understand the words better. It looks more like a Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial though...little boy eating very large bucket of chicken...gotta love it!

Update:

Ali is doing MUCH better. Her sores are beginning to heal nicely, she is itching them less and she's over the contagious period because she isn't oozing and there are no new sores! YA!!! She'll have to stay on both antibiotics for ten to fourteen days. The time will be decided on the progression of her healing. If she needs more antibiotics to beat it, she'll stay on them for the extra four days. I'm hoping for just the ten because her little bottom has gotten some pretty nasty sores on it from the antibiotics. It was bleeding the other day when I changed it...yuck. I felt so bad.

All in all, we're glad to say we're on the mend. We had a couple more showings on the house today and that's always encouraging. I hope we don't lose our momentum as the week progresses...we shall see!
