4 Wheeling Mania!!!!

We went down to the sand dunes, out by Delta, on Saturday and had a BLAST!! We left the house at 7am and spent the day taking the 4 wheelers around the camp ground and over to the dunes. The kids loved riding them and Clay got pretty good at riding around by himself. I even got adventurous and put my book down long enough to take a few trips!



Jack spent most of his time playing in the sand, or with sticks (preferably the roasting sticks), but any time someone would drive up on a 4 wheeler, he would walk over and try to climb on! It was pretty funny!


Clay went for a ride with Ben over at the dunes and got whip lash when they went over a big jump and ended up with a black eye...it's pretty cool looking. He said he was sad he had already finished school and wouldn't be able to show it off! I'll be sure and get a pic of that up...he looks like he's wearing purple and blue eye shadow!


Quin came back from one of their trips to the dunes and said, "Mom, that was sooooo fast!" He was very impressed, but preferred to spend most of his time playing in the sand.



Ali just wanted to ride with anyone who would take her and spent a lot of time 'grumping' by herself while she waited for her next victim!





The family we went with had planned on staying until dark, but by three o'clock we were all so tired we ditched early and came home...it was all we could do to not fall asleep in the car on the way home (ok, maybe the kids and I did fall asleep, but we just couldn't help ourselves)!!

It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to going again in a couple of weeks! Ya!!!
