I went to bed last night at 10pm and didn't wake up until after 9am!!! My eyes were a little crusty, but they didn't hurt! I haven't taken pain pills today and I only put one drop of the tetracaine (pain drops) in my right eye this afternoon (I think I may have bumped it and it started to sting a little). However, I am otherwise pain free today! It's been rather nice. The only down side is that I can't see worth beans! My vision is sooooo blurry. In fact, I wouldn't be able to type this if I didn't have the keyboard memorized. I'll have Joe check for mistakes, because I can't see well enough to find them myself! So sad!!!
They did say that day three your vision is the worst, but it should consistently get better from here on out...that's excellent news! I go in on Thursday and get the contacts out and they should let me know how my recovery is progressing.
I have been experiencing a few headaches, more like a constant headache, from all of the squinting. Hopefully those will subside as my vision returns.
Joe asked me if I felt it was worth it now that the pain has gone, but I told him that will depend entirely on how complete my recovery is. If I get 20/20 vision or better, it will definitely have been worth it.....only time will tell. In the meantime, however, I am feeling really good, I'm dealing with the lack of vision and I even went so far as to make Raspberry Cream Pie today....yum...life is pretty good again!

I forgot to post about Jacko's Well Child Check. He is my smallest boy, and yet when I look at him I'm constantly thinking how big he is! How funny is that? He is in the 25% for weight and 12% for height. I checked my old journals and at one year Clay was in the 50% for both weight and height, Quin was in the 48% and 50% for weight and height and Ali was in the less than 3% and 5% for weight and height, respectively. So crazy!!! Jack had a great old time running around in his diaper at the doctors though, I couldn't get him to put the little milk jug down either. He kept trying to climb up on the little chairs they have, which I found rather amusing! He didn't even cry much when he got his shots...what a big boy...and the best new is he's now big enough and old enough to sit forward facing in his carseat!!!!! He loves it!! It's been pretty nice, he loves interacting with everyone, it's great!

Wow, that sounds like quite the ordeal! Hopefully, it will all be worth it in the end. Your raspberry pie sounds really good!
I'm so glad you're doing better!
Your kids are so cute!
YAY for forward facing car seat! That is the best part of them turning one! I am glad that you are feeling better, hopefully you can see soon!

How are the eyes coming? I hope they're good.
My eyes are watering just reading about your surgery. I'm glad that you aren't in pain anymore now. Sounds like it was not fun. I hope everything continues to heal quickly. I love the story about Jack holding the eggs. Kids are so funny!
