He got his first haircut on Saturday.

I cut over three inches off in some places - mostly off the top.

He didn't appreciate it much after the first few minutes. Overall he did a very good job. He looks so different now, so much like Clay did at 6 mths.
Jack is such a good baby. I am such a lucky mom.
I'm also a very lucky wife.

Joe took me out on a 'dress-up' date for my 27th birthday on Saturday. He took me to a very nice restaurant (Fleming's Prime Steak House - I would definitely recommend it) and then we went to the Symphony. We haven't been to the symphony in years...since Clay was a baby.
It's amazing how much your habits and priorities change after you have kids. It is so much more difficult to spend quality time together, alone. I am convinced, however, that when you go to all that extra effort to spend time together, it is so much more special.
It was a really wonderful night.
I love my husband....he's absolutely WONDERFUL!

Happy Birthday! You look great! Jack is lucky. Scottie is 1 and still hasn't had his first haircut. Poor guy. I have a question, how did you do your picture at top top of your blog? It is really cute! I can't seem to get mine to do anything like that.
