What a crazy month it has been!
Let's start with the wedding....

My baby sister (who returned from her LDS Mission, in Armenia, the end of February) got married on August 11th. It was pretty chaotic around here with all of the family in town, but it was a lot of fun to see everyone and it turned out to be a really great day!

We really like Phillip, the newest in-law, and he is great with the kids (which means FREE, RELIABLE babysitting! HOORAY!!!). In fact, his family is pretty great to. They were in town last week bringing up some furniture and stopped by our place to say hello (because the newly weds were here babysitting!) They ended up spending the afternoon helping me can marinara sauce! We finished in half the time and it turned out really great (I'm smiling just thinking about it)!

This is our adorable family (not the best picture, but what can I say, it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get six people to all look in the same direction and smile - especially when fifteen cameras are all shooting at the same time from fifteen different directions...not to mention that the children out number the adults).

Here are the kids. They were so good when we started to take pictures, but when I decided to add Jack to the picture Ali got REALLY mad at me....

apparently she felt it was HER responsibility to hold Jack, not Clay's! Am I missing something here? Jack is only about 6-8 pounds lighter than Ali...he could crush her! I will never understand little girls (which is even sadder when you consider the fact that I once was one). You have to love her furrowed eyebrows though! She's getting really good at that.

I finally got some really great pics of the kids and the family. All of the photos on my walls were from last year or even earlier. Most of them were at least two years out of date...oops!

Clayton is six and a half now. It is weird to think that much time has gone by. Clay is a really great kid. Lately, however, he has been having a LOT of breakdowns. Everything sends him to tears. I'm hoping that he is just tired because he's having to adjust to seven straight hours of school instead of three, but I don't know. Has anyone else had this problem? Please tell me it's just a phase....just a very short phase...

Quin is four and a half now. He will start his second year of preschool in October. His teacher is due to have a baby any day now so she postponed the start of school. It has been a really LOOOOOONG summer for him and we're both pretty excited for school to start again!

Ali is 2 and a half. She is so full of life and so opinionated. The other day I was changing her diaper and I told her she needed to start using the potty. Her reply was, "NO! I not go potty, you use potty yourself!" I'm pretty sure I got told off by my two year old...what a joke!

Jack is almost six months old now. Jack is almost at twenty pounds now and he has already started eating baby food. He eats about two and a half jars (BIG jars) of baby food a day. He loves to eat and has a wonderful temperament (thank goodness for that). I don't know what we would do without Jacko.

I must admit that we are pretty lucky parents. The kids aren't perfect, but they are pretty well behaved...most of the time!
Oh, and no blog would be complete without a completely hideous picture of ME! I decided to darken my hair a little. I've never actually dyed all of my hair - only highlights. I've also never gone darker than my original color. So, this was a first and I think I prefer it darker, I just hope some of the red goes away...and soon! (My husband doesn't like red heads - Oops!).

Those are some great pictures. I love the one at the top of your blog page. That is so cute! I know the feeling in regards to weddings, but it sounds like Maggie got some great in-laws...not quite the same for my sister-in-law. It was good to see new pictures and hear how you are doing again...I am going to have to try calling again some day!
Audri, your kiddos are so adorable! I love the pouty one of your little girl! She reminds me a lot of another little girl I know...and I hope that the fits of tears thing is a phase, because we are experiencing the exact phenomenon at our house with Madi right now...very annoying, hopefully it will go away soon!
Audri - I like to check out your blog. It was nice to see some updated photos. Your kids are adorable. I can't believe how big your baby is. He is so cute! I hope you got my "invitation" to check out our blog. Have fun! Emily (Olsen) Adams

I love the update! The wedding photo is precious. Your kids are so cute, and I can't believe how big Jack is getting.
As for Clay's breakdowns...you might as well have been talking about Amelia. After seven hours of school, I really think they are just exhausted. She is doing the exact same thing.
Also, who is the preschool teacher that is having a baby? Is that a neighbor? I love to hear neighbor news...I miss you guys!
