The End of Kindergarten

Clay has had such a great year in Kindergarten. The Elementary School is year-round, which has taken some getting use to, but he has really loved it. His teacher was fabulous and he has made some really good friends along the way. I was surprised at how much he has learned. He is reading really well and I'm constantly amazed at what he knows. Clay begins 1st grade on the 23rd of July. CRAZY!!! I can't believe I'll have a child in all day school. It is going to take a while to adjust to having him gone every day of the week for 7hrs. I will really miss all of the help he gives me while he is at home. Oh well, I suppose I have to let go eventually. He is really looking forward to it and I know that he is going to do really well. I will just have to spend the next two months preparing myself!








These are pictures of Clay at Field Day. That night he was laying in bed and said, "Mom, today was the best day. I had a really good day!" I hope that he will have plenty more great days in the future!!!
