My Holiday Survey...

1. Eggnog or Hot chocolate? Definitely Hot Chocolate. I HATE Eggnog - Sorry guys!
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Wraps them. Stocking stuffers aren't wrapped, but everything else is.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Colored lights on the tree, none on the house.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? Nope.
5. When do you put your decorations up? As soon as I can find the time, after Thanksgiving.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? I love it all....food, food, food.
7. Favorite holiday memory as a child? Waking up one year to our presents all missing from under the tree. We were so worried. Then we found them after my mom got home from working the night shift (we found out much later that she hid them before she left so she wouldn't miss out on seeing us open them). It made Christmas a little more special that year.
8. How and when did you learn the truth about Santa? Probably not until 5th grade or so.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes, always new Christmas pajamas.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? With a little of everything! Joe's grandma has made us TONS of decorations with that plastic stuff covered in yarn. It's a jumble of things, but we love it.
11. Snow? Love it or dread it? Love it if I'm not driving in it.
12. Can you ice skate? I have once or twice, so I suppose I can, just not well.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? A teddy bear I got when I was 6, it was my favorite gift that year, and the only one I actually remember getting.
14. What's the most important thing about the holidays for you? Spending time with the people I love.
15. What is your favorite homemade holiday dessert? Fudge - Joe's Aunt makes the BEST!
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Joe always builds a big fire and we sit in front of it and watch the kids open their presents.
17. What tops your tree? Star
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Definitely giving.
19. What is your favorite Christmas song? I love them all, anything that brings that holiday cheer!
