In other news....

I had to include this pic because I thought it was funny. Joe and I walked into Ali's room, where the boys had been watching a movie, this is what we found. They had both fallen asleep, and in the funniest positions! We had a good laugh.

Time seems to be flying by. Clay is almost on his first break from school and I am looking forward to having the time off, but worried that he is going to be VERY bored by the time his three weeks off are finished. He absolutely LOVES school and is enjoying every minute of it. He can spell so many words that I am amazed he's only been in Kindergarten for a month and a half. In fact, the other day he was laying on the couch saying, "G..R..E..E..N....green. G..R..E..E..N....green." He kept repeating it. I was floored! He is so young, but growing up so fast.

In other exciting news, Quin is POTTY TRAINED! Don't ask him if he is because he will deny it, I don't think he understands what it means. It may have taken us three and a half years to get Quin potty trained, but when I consider that he has never yet wet the bed, I count myself lucky, and very grateful. He hasn't had an accident in about a week and I'm pretty sure he won't have many more in the future. I can't express my relief at not having three still in diapers!

Ali won't be too far behind. She already informs us when she needs her diaper changed and she's fasinated with the toilet, but won't sit on it because she is so small, she'd fall in. She is growing up in so many other ways though. She is talking like crazy and I'm constantly amazed at the new words she says and how she seems to understand everything we say. She has been picking out her outfits lately, which I think is very funny because she is so little, and she loves to get out of the house. It will be interesting to see how she handles a new baby in the family. She is pretty comfortable being the baby of our family.

Life and work is good for us right now. I'm busy preparing our wards Primary Program, not a simple task by any means. It is always difficult to find a way to include all 80+ children in some way. I've got some good ideas and I really like how our program went last year so I 'm using that as my outline. Hopefully it will all go well.

Joe is busy and that means things are going pretty well. We miss him when he is gone so much, but we're grateful he is willing to work so hard for all of us.

Hopefully we'll have some new pics to post soon. Till then, cheers!
